What a gorgeous day!

I guess it`s the hottest this year so far—about 27°C here in the UK! I hope you're enjoying this lovely weather as much as I am, even if it’s cheekily saving the best sunshine for the weekdays instead of the weekend!

While I’m currently working on a few projects I can’t share just yet, I thought I’d post something cheerful today—this little drawing of a Loten’s sunbird. These tiny birds, only about 12–13 cm long, are native to India and Sri Lanka. The males are especially striking with their glossy purple plumage and a distinctive maroon band across the chest. They're known for their long, curved bills, which help them feed on nectar, and they often hover at flowers like hummingbirds.
